Burke, Virginia, May 21, 2002 Lynn Gardner has joined
national auction powerhouse Tranzon, L.L.C., as its Director of National
Residential Programs. Ms. Gardner is considered to be the leading residential
real estate auction expert in the industry.
Gardner joined forces with Long & Foster Real Estate in 1994 in order to launch
the first auction program of its kind within a major real estate company. Over
the years they jointly settled in excess of 3,000 property sales using the
auction method of marketing. Working with Tranzon, Gardner will expand this
program into other major real estate firms. "In addition to working with local
brokers to offer auction services to their clientele, I will continue
developing auction programs for major brokers nationwide." Through the Tranzon
affiliation, Gardner will have the expertise needed to support brokers across
the country.
"Although Long & Foster will continue to have an auction edge over their local
competitors, we will now be offering turn-key auction services to all brokers
throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Many local brokers were reluctant to work
within a program that was promoted as a Long & Foster auction. With Tranzon
being the lead promoter for our auctions, all brokers will have equal marketing
exposure which should lead to more participation among the brokerage
community," said Gardner.
Auctions are appealing to sellers with a time driven need to sell their
property. "I don't consider our expertise to be auction as much as I consider
our expertise to be marketing. Some of the best sales professionals in the
world are auctioneers. We work within a defined timeline through an aggressive
advertising and marketing campaign. We control the terms and conditions of the
transaction so the sellers and buyers needs are met," said Gardner. By applying
these skills to real estate sales, auction marketing can be favored by buyers
and sellers seeking out aggressive sales support for their real estate needs.
Ms. Gardner is a frequent speaker to the National Association of Realtors and
the National Auctioneers Association. She is a licensed auctioneer and has
managed and conducted auctions in numerous states. Residential real estate
brokerages have utilized Gardner's auction programs to enhance their client
service offerings and meet the needs of sellers who must sell their property on
a defined timeline. Through an auction, sellers can expect property to close
and receive their proceeds within 30 days of the auction date with no
contingencies.
