"All these K-Mart sites enjoy excellent locations. They are on major roads,
have ample parking and are in great physical shape. Obviously, all sites are
zoned for retail operations. We believe the potential buyers of these stores
include retailers, commercial real estate development firms or any organization
needing a large space with easy-access from a heavily-traveled highway," said
Tom Hanley, Regional President, Tranzon Hanley.
All bids are due to brokers by close of business on Aug. 18, 2004. The
following conditions apply:
Bids are sealed.
A cashier's check must accompany all bids. One check must be provided for each
property bid upon.
Checks must be made payable to Landamerica Title Company in Dallas.
If a bid is accepted, then the buyer will owe a balance to achieve 10 percent
of the purchase price as earnest money.
The purchase price is the sum of the high bid plus a 5 percent buyer premium.
