Richmond, Virginia and Conrad, Iowa, November 26, 2001 - Tranzon, L.L.C. announced that Rogers and Associates Inc. has joined Tranzon as one of its member companies. Rogers and Associates, which will begin to trade under the name Tranzon Rogers, operates from its offices in Conrad and Marshalltown, Iowa.

Tranzon member companies cover the United States from coast-to-coast and specialize in selling real estate and significant business assets at auction. The Tranzon companies have successful auction experience in all types of real estate, combining the market savvy and expertise of regional companies with the resources of a national organization. Member companies may join by invitation only, and are selected based on stringent criteria focusing on service excellence, reputation, and expertise.

Rogers and Associates, Inc. was founded in 1981 and currently operates throughout Iowa. The company has specialized in real estate and farm machinery and equipment auctions.

In connection with this announcement, Marty Rogers has been named Regional President of Tranzon and has been elected to Tranzon's Executive Committee. Jeff Levin, President of Richmond, Virginia-based Tranzon, L.L.C., remarked, "We are excited to associate with Marty and his auction team. Rogers & Associates, Inc. are members of the State and National Auctioneers Associations and regularly attend meetings and seminars to improve and update their skills Marty Rogers has served on the Auction Marketing Institute’s technology committee and is a regular speaker at state and national conventions. He is an instructor at World Wide College of Auctioneering, teaching their course on Real estate auctions and bid calling. He is an Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate (AARE). A designation earned though hours of study at the Auction Marketing Institute, Overland Park, Kansas. Marty holds degrees from The University of Wyoming with graduate studies at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
