John has been a practicing CPA for twenty-three years with an extensive real estate background. He was formerly employed as controller for Hallbrook Farms in Leawood, Kansas and Grand Mere Development, Manhattan, Kansas, both upscale housing developments surrounding golf courses. In addition, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of a Kansas City based real estate management company he participated in both development and sales of large apartment projects.

Mr. Winchell is a licensed real estate agent in both Kansas and Missouri, a CPA in Missouri and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Auditors. His educational experience includes graduation from the University of Kansas, suma cum laude in Business Administration and Accounting, and two years of law school at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Over the past twelve years, he has worked with Native Americans across the country obtaining and maximizing funding for youth programs, court enhancement and domestic violence prevention. This has led into similar consulting services with counties within the State of Missouri. He is an exceptional mediator and skilled at analyzing both sides of an issue to bring about mutual consent.
