One of the original English land grant properties in the New World, Four Mile Tree was successfully auctioned to an investor who purchases and restores antique homes as a hobby. The 300+ acre property, with nearly a mile of waterfront on the James River is listed on the National Historic Register and carries a conservation easement to preserve its historic and rural character.
